Within the past month I have done anything but dined in 'fine' restaurants. Outside of one night where I dined inside the Paris hotel in LV (I can't even recall the restaurant name! Part of the reason for this blog!:) it's been nothing but checking out local Italian outfits around the Rochester part of PA.
Levantis : UGH! One of the nicer spots in town, went in and we did an assortment of different aps and entrees and were very unimpressed. Tomato sauce was watery and came straight out of a can. Outside of our young, very impressive service things were way below par.
Greg Powells Riverside Dining: Live piano with a semi pretty view of the Ohio River. Eh. I ordered Swordfish and it was BAD! Horrible idea ordering fish on the NorthEastern part of the states! Oh my, I about threw up! To replace I ended up with a shrimp penne pasta dish with a tomato base. Watery, and my shrimp were fucking pop corn shrimp! My sauce was oily as the chef was in a hurry(obviously) to replace his mistake for the fish he tried to sneak in as he mis ordered. It didn't get time to cool and lead to it being below satisfactory. My server was friendly, but at a restaurant attempting to be as astute as this in the area - her constant kneeling on the ground while taking our orders or talking to us was VERY bad.
Wooden Indian: nice, cozy, cheap, good solid mom and pa kinda food. Love it!
Police Station Pizza: Best damn pizza in this part of PA;)
Pit Stop: Cheap, get in get out, solid, big portioned trucker stop like breakfast. Great bang for my buck!
Gasepis(sp?): Best Italian joint in the area, had the seafood crepes and everything was masterful.
Chains as of late include: Olive Garden, Texas Road house, Eat n' Park(PUKE!)

To start out...
Had the idea of posting my dining experiences from around the globe. I used to just jot down all the different restaurants I've checked out in my past and love going over my yearly list. There's just to many damn places to count, and figured that it would be neat to have every one (well not every one, but most) blogged. So here it is, my restaurant blog list. I'll be going over things such as whom I dined with, where, food ate, and positives/negatives of dining experience. Absolutely not for your viewing pleasure, but read if you feel the need!:)
Cheers!
Cheers!
